Welcome to Kawaii Esquire, a place where cute doesn't have to mean ordinary.

I created Kawaii Esquire for people who enjoy a little personality in the things around them—the cute, the cozy, the quirky, the dramatic, and sometimes the wonderfully unexpected.

Here, you might meet an adorable dumpling, discover a cozy animal companion, find something with a theatrical or gothic twist, or stumble across a design that simply makes you think, “That's so me.”

A Shop for More Than One Mood

I've never believed you have to choose just one aesthetic.

You can love soft and adorable things while also loving something dark and dramatic. You can want cozy today, quirky tomorrow, and completely theatrical by the weekend.

Kawaii Esquire celebrates all of those sides of you.

The Story Behind the Name

Kawaii Esquire is the customer-facing brand of Jennifer Esquire Creations.

I chose Kawaii Esquire as the online name because it was shorter, memorable, and easier for customers to type and find.

Over time, it became more than a convenient shop name. It developed its own personality—and today it represents the playful side of Jennifer Esquire Creations.

The name itself captures the contrast I love:

Kawaii brings the cute, playful and whimsical.

Esquire brings a little elegance, character and drama.

Put them together and you get Kawaii Esquire.

Jennifer Esquire — Owner, Creative Director & Designer

I'm the owner of Jennifer Esquire Creations and the creator behind Kawaii Esquire. I develop most of the concepts and ideas for our artwork, work with color, and create the final designs that become Kawaii Esquire products.

For me, the fun starts with an idea—a character, a mood, a funny little concept, or something I simply wish existed—and grows from there.

Art created through collaboration
Many Kawaii Esquire characters begin as ideas imagined by Jennifer Esquire and are brought to life through the drawings of Jennifer Moran, a legally blind artist. Jennifer Esquire then works with color, composition, and design to transform the illustrations into the finished artwork you see throughout our collections.
